Once again, Rory McIlroy has a great chance at a major. He had really good chances at last year's British Open and last year's PGA, but he could not break through. His performance this week will tell us a lot about whether he's the next Tiger or the next Sergio.

Best I can tell, there are three Kentuckians on the PGA Tour--Kenny Perry of Elizabethtown, Paducah and Franklin and Western Kentucky University; J.B. Holmes of Campbellsville and UK, and Josh Teater of Danville and Morehead State--and none is playing in this tournament.
