Coming in at number 83 on the Best of the 80's list is this 1987 release. I didn't like The Pogues back in the 80's and listening to them now I still don't like them. I would much rather put on The Waterboys anytime and never got the appeal of The Pogues. I would avoid this album at all costs personally.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 0 out of 5 stars for Don't Like.
Who in the world were the Pogues?

ReplyDeletethe poor pogues ... i imagine some former pogue getting home from his commute from whatever dublin office he works in now, looking forward to the end of his drab work week tomorrow and remembering fondly when he had some mild success playing traditional irish songs for happy pop audiences, deciding to do a google search and then ... utter misery.
