This 1975 release comes in at number 15 on the Best of the 70's list. This album is best known for the fact that they touch on almost every genre on this album and do it all with a wink. You've got heavy metal, prog rock, folk, and pop. They bring it all together as the album peaks with "Bohemian Rhapsody." If you think of that song as being over the top, then you'll have some sense of this album.
Though I can appreciate the album, I don't enjoy it that much though I do love the song "You're My Best Friend." It is amazing that these guys could so easily move from a song like "I'm In Love With My Car" to "You're My Best Friend" to "'39" with such ease, but for me it's just not that enjoyable a listen.
If you're in the mood to be a bit outrageous then throw this on and you're there.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
