If you like Paul Simon then you should like this album. A blend of his pre and post Graceland approaches to song construction this album is short and sweet at ten well crafted tracks.
As much as I love Simon and Garfunkel I have never been a big fan of Simon's solo work and am probably the only person I know who never bought a copy of Graceland. Still I can appreciate what Simon has accomplished and this album feels as alive and ambitious as anything else he's done.
This album is fairly quiet and would be a great listen sitting around at night with your family talking.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.
I never bought a copy of Graceland.
