There are many problems with this album. The biggest is that there are no songs on here that really grab you. Probably next in line is that the band seems a bit confused about who they are right now. Half the album is standard Strokes fare, the other half is something else, though I'm not sure what.All in all it's an ok album, but nothing I would recommend. You could probably pick a few songs here and there to put on a mix tape, but even at ten tracks it drags a bit as a listen.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
I started playing to the video before reading your review and honestly, literally thought to myself, "standard Strokes fare." So I'm guessing this song would be one from what you consider to be that stuff ...?
