Album Review: All You Need Is Now by Duran Duran

This album has a very basic problem.  In my mind Duran Duran is all about creating catchy pop songs and this album doesn't have any.  The songs aren't bad, but there is nothing on here that grabs the listener and gets your feet tapping. 

Also the way it is produced, the album has a very harsh sound to it.  The bass is so tucked away it's almost as if the rhythm section doesn't exist.  Overall the album sounds loud and brittle.

It's not a bad album, and will give you flashbacks to the 80's, but overall it's just doesn't offer much.

If you like Duran Duran then give this a listen and you'll at least enjoy it.
