Coming in at number 33 on the Best of the 70's list is this ambitious 1976 release. A double LP this is Stevie Wonders most complex work musically as he delves deeply into the power of what can be done with synthesizers and the recording studio.
This is considered by most to be his master work as you get to know what a brilliant musician and composer Wonder is along with a few hit songs "I Wish," "Sir Duke," and "Isn't She Lovely."
Like I said earlier I prefer Innervisions as I find it to be a much tighter collection of music, but it's hard to come up with a good reason not to own this album as well.
A very positive album, this would be great to play on Sundays while sitting around the house reading the paper, drinking coffee and getting ready for church.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.
I don't have this one. In fact, I'd never heard this song--which was, of course, remade.
