Sitting at number 46 on the Best of the 70's list is this 1971 release from Lennon. It's a solid album with nothing living up to the title track and to be honest I don't quite get why it's on the list and especially as low as number 46.
I mean we are talking about a list of every album made during the 1970's and I don't get how this fits. If this were a singles list, then I can certainly understand the song "Imagine" being on that list and even near the top, but not the album.
Like I said this is a solid album with no bad moments and one brilliant moment. I also really like the song "Oh Yoko!."
Like most solid pop albums this can be played at almost any time.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.
The lyrics to this song played a key role in a WKRP in Cincinnati episode from which this scene might well have been drawn.
