Best of the 70's: Entertainment by Gang of Four

Have you ever wondered where bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine got their inspiration?  This is the album.  If you were a fan of the 80's alternative scene and got into bands like That Petrol Emotion you'll be blown away the first time you hear this if you were like me and knew nothing about this album. 

A hugely influential album, this album has actually aged very well and still sounds fresh and new.  This is definitely a type of music that doesn't lend itself to pop sensibilities and so it isn't for everyone or every mood.  If you feel like listening to some noisy, youthful, angry rock then put this on and you'll be pleased. 

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
