Album Review: Opus 1 by Edge

Edge is a French singer songwriter who I can find very little about.  The songs he's put together aren't bad, but every song uses a vocoder and after a bit it wears on your nerves. 

To be honest the use of the vocoder kind of overwhelms anything else I would have to say about this album.  There are aspects to the sound of this album that I am drawn to, he is drawing a lot from 80's bands like A-Ha and Cutting Crew for instance, but I can't get past the vocoder.

This wouldn't be bad to play as background music while you read, at least then you may not notice the vocoder so much.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
