Album Review: Fixin' To Die by G. Love

Fixin' To Die [+Digital Booklet]G. Love is the front man for the blues inspired G. Love and Special Sauce, but on this album he has teamed up with The Avett Brothers and turned to country for inspiration.

It's a bit all over the place in sound, but definitely country inspired and pretty good.  They could have reduced the number of tracks, it's got 14, but that doesn't detract from the album.  I find it to be a fun listen.

This would be fun to throw on while you're grilling steaks or vegetables.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.
