This is another one of those albums I listen to over and over and just never make a connection with. There isn't even a song or a moment on a song that really grabs me. As I'm writing my 63rd new album review for this year I am realizing that there is a lot of mediocre music out there. Funny thing is these guys sound like they know how to construct the sound they want and so I'm sure there are some real fans out there, but not me.
This album is a bit on the dark side as the music is very heavy and layered. I could see playing this while driving out to Gethsemani to take a walk on a cool, windy spring day.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
this is pretty good. i'm going to keep an eye out for these folks.
