Vandals!

The Utah State Aggies rode a 17-game winning streak into Moscow last night. They went out with a 64-56 loss, as the Vandals' up-and-down season continues. The last time we checked on Idaho, their six-game winning streak had ended with a 67-70 loss at home to Boise State. The Vandals, apparently discouraged by this result, then lost at La Tech, at New Mexico State, and at home to San Jose State, dropping their record in the WAC to 5-5. But since then they have righted the ship, with home wins over Hawaii and league-leader Utah State. On Saturday, the fourth-place Vandals head to Boise for a rematch with the Broncos. We will see if they can keep the momentum going this time.

  1. Hoop heads in the greater Moscow area will no doubt be headed to Pullman tonight, as the WSU Cougars (who are currently on the bubble with a 6-5 record in league play) host the Stanford Cardinal in a huge game for Wazzoo tourney hopes.
