Here are some key statistics from UK's last three games (a loss at Alabama, a win at South Carolina, and a win over Georgia):
3-pt shooting: 7-21, 3-13, 6-17. Total: 16-51 (31.4 percent)
free-throws: 13-22, 24-29, 16-25. Total: 53-76 (69.7 percent)
For the season, we are shooting 39.9 percent from 3-point range, and we are shooting 69.6 from the line. So in the last three games, our three-point shooting was well below average, and we had poor free throw shooting in two of those three games. The big question is this: do our current shooting woes represent a "new normal" that means we will struggle for the rest of the year, or are they simply a temporary downturn that will soon be corrected?
