So how is the KY Bureau of the HP's man of the year doing this year? How are the fans doing? Are they hanging in with the team or has things permanently changed in KY to where people are only fired up if the team is really good?
I think the fans are pretty unhappy with so many close losses, but they believe Cal is more likely to figure this out than we are, so they are holding their fire for the most part.
But things have not changed in Kentucky. The UK message board still has more guests after a loss than a win.
I know probably 50 people in Madisonville by first name, and I'll bet 40 of them have watched at least 75 percent of UK's games this season.
Dick Vitale said in the Florida broadcast that Coach Calipari doesn't care about the SEC this year ... that he's completely focused on figuring out a way to get this team capable of winning in the NCAA tournament. So, obviously, it's a completely different season than last. I'm rolling with Coach Cal, and I suspect most UK fans are.

Virginia's pediatrician and the drive-through woman at Captain D's today were both very thrilled to see the Wildcats get it turned around last night.
