Best of the 70's: Tago Mago by Can

Tago MagoI understand art rocks place in music history, but I'm not the biggest fan.  There was a batch of music that came out of Germany in the early 70's that was experimenting with rock, free jazz, classical, etc. labeled Krautrock.  Tago Mago is the top of the heap of the Krautrock genre.

If you're into this kind of thing I suppose it's good, me I would avoid it at all cost.  If you want to get a feel for what these guys were doing but don't want the whole experience then I'd say give the opening track "Paperhouse" a listen.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 0 out of 5 stars for Don't Like.  Sitting at number 78 on the Best of the 1970's list obviously many consider this a classic, not me.
