I thought this album would be much lower on the chart than it is sitting at number 82 on the Best of the 1970's list. This album is credited with starting the glam rock movement of the 70's. So presumably we don't get David Bowie, Iggy Pop, or any of the glam rock artists or crossovers like Kiss without first getting this album.
Of course this album started a craze not because of the way Marc Bolan dressed but because of the music on Electric Warrior. It is a brilliant album that has not a bad note on it.
If you want to hear the beginning of glam rock and a great rock album then give this a spin.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.
OK, I'm back on rock music. "Jeepster" is such a terrific song.
