So many questions from this story. What's the deal with this re-appraisal? What were the specifics of the court's previous commitment to the guy to pick up more of his tab? What is this movie, and why was the court involved, anyway?
The faculty adviser of UK's paper is a great friend and former College Heights Herald colleague, so I'm thrilled for him personally ... but it breaks my heart that WKU's long term as the banner toter for college journalism in Kentucky has been interrupted. Meanwhile, a Hilltopper is the new new Kentucky Press prez, so the Kernel better enjoy it while they can.
I especially love Rev. Neuroth's quote in this story.

Taking it downtown Thursday night. The Heath Post will have to dig into Princeton's old Butler High School between now and then.

ReplyDeleteHere's the old school, and here's an interesting thing from Todd Griffin in The Times-Leader about the historical lack of rivalries (despite no lack of familiarity) with First Region teams among Caldwell County schools, including old Butler.
