A lot of people will complain that UK didn't look very sharp after the first 10 minutes of the game -- but I have rarely seen UK play very well after it jumps out to a 33-11 lead. Personally, I thought this was a very solid result.

Kentucky 78 - 54 Auburn (Final) (No. 2,036)
Number 1 son needed the computer for homework, so I had to stop live-blogging the game. The big story was that Terrence Jones, who actually started this game on the bench, went 11-17 from the field to score 35 points, setting a new all-time record for a UK freshman. As a team, UK went 11-26 from three-point range, which is always nice. Most significantly, of course, Auburn was much easier to defend than Georgia. UK is now 13-0 this season in games where they have held their opponent under 70 points -- and 0-3 when their opponents scores more than 70 points.
