I'm not a huge fan of ambient music, but it does have its place in my musical life. For me you can embrace good ambient music as a soundtrack for your life. It can be in the background as you're walking across snow covered streets on your way into work, or it can be there as you dig a 4' x 4' x 4' hole so that your boss can bury his dead cat.
In other words to me good ambient music enhances your daily life experiences and adds color and depth to your memories and your life. This album doesn't really do any of this for me. Sure if I just want something on in the background to help me take a nap, or for noise while I program I could see throwing this on, but not to enhance my daily life.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
This song did, in fact, enhance my daily life. Thank you, Heath Post!
