Oh, Kentucky

My wife and daughter and I ate at this bakery earlier this year!

"... (P)opulation of 8,653, has a median income of $61,496, with home prices averaging about $100,000" ... sounds good, indeed.

A Herald-Leader-via-The Times Leader postscript to GoHeath's not-to-be-missed census report earlier this week: "Kentucky hasn't lost a seat in Congress since the 1990 census. A century ago, Kentucky had 11 House seats, the same as California did."

The south side of Madisonville continues to sink.

Another front of the church-and-state conversation in Kentucky.

Bank of Kentucky, a bank in Crestview Hills, says it's about half-back to black with the feds.
