Armed Forces Bowl (Dec. 30): SMU v. Army
We don't get enough chances to see Army in a bowl game.
Pinstripe Bowl (Dec. 30): Syracuse v. Kansas State
You won't want to watch the actual game, but you should check in to see what Yankee Stadium looks like with a football field.
Sun Bowl (Dec. 31): Miami (Fla.) v. Notre Dame
Just to be happy that this isn't a big game anymore.
Peach Bowl (Dec. 31): Florida St. v. S. Carolina
Steve Spurrier gets a rematch with the Noles.
Tangerine Bowl (Jan. 1): Michigan St. v. Alabama
Nick Saban faces another of his old teams
Rose Bowl (Jan. 1): TCU v. Wisconsin
You're supposed to eat your black-eyed peas for dinner while watching the Rose Bowl.
Sugar Bowl (Jan. 4): Arkansas v. Ohio State
No one will watch this game, which is a real shame because it should be a barn-burner.
Cotton Bowl (Jan. 7): Texas A&M v. LSU
Great programs, great fan bases, great tradition.
BCS Title Game (Jan. 10): Auburn v. Oregon
Most people outside the South will have forgotten that college football is still being played by this point, but those who remember to watch will see a great game.
You listed 9 bowl games, there are 35 or so to be played.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you can skip most of them. But nine great games over the course of 11 or 12 days is still really good.
ReplyDeleteIf you had my 32 team playoff you would get 31 great games.
