This is a lot of fun. It lets you see how often particular words have been used at various times in history. For example, there is a big spike in the use of "Beatles" beginning in the mid-1960s. For reasons that I don't understand, there was a big spike in the use of "Kentucky" from around 1919 to 1924, followed by a sharp decline. I also found it interesting that "Kentucky" was used more often than "Tennessee" in almost every year from 1800 to 1940, but "Tennessee" has been used more often than "Kentucky" in every year since 1940. "Philadelphia" was used more often than "Chicago" in every year from 1800 to around 1900, but "Chicago" has far outpaced "Philadelphia" since that time.
Anyway, it's a lot of fun.
