The Ashes, Match 4, Days 1 and 2

Any thought that Australia's victory in its last match had given the Aussies momentum was quickly dispelled in this one. Australia batted first, and they were completely overwhelmed by England's bowling -- scoring only 98 runs in their first innings. England then started batting -- and they have been batting ever since. After two days, England has 444 runs in their first innings -- and they still have five outs left. The only question now is whether England will take all of their outs, or whether they will voluntarily stop batting early, so as to give themselves more time to retire Australia in the second innings.

By the way, here is a big difference between cricket and baseball -- the Australian captain is in big trouble for arguing with the umpire during today's play.
