When I reviewed Nothing by N.E.R.D. I complained about their lyrics going a bit too far to vulgar. Well they sound like Mr. Rogers compared to this ridiculously vulgar Nelly album. At least N.E.R.D. was experimenting with some interesting sounds. Nelly is doing nothing new here, but the lyrics are so far over the top vulgar I found myself embarrassed at times even with headphones on. There is no reason to ever put this album on.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 0 out of 5 stars for Don't Like.
that one big hit of his, "hot in here" (except "here" is spelled funny) ... i still find myself singing that from time to time, 10 years or whatever after it came out.
