The third round of the playoffs will be played on December 18th. Below are the third round matchups.

2 Arkansas (SEC) vs 5 Alabama (SEC) in the Cotton Bowl
Group D
5 Utah (MWC) vs 6 Nebraska (B12) in the Sun Bowl
Group B
3 Boise State (WAC) vs 4 Michigan State (B10) in the Gator Bowl
Group C
1 Oregon (P10) vs 2 Texas Christian (MWC) in the Citrus Bowl
I'm surprised that there haven't been more close games in the playoffs so far.
