World Series: Texas 0 - 3 San Francisco (Middle of the 7th)

Lee bore down and struck out Pat Burrell, leaving the runners at 2d and 3d. He only needed one more out when Edgar Renteria came to the plate. Joe Morgan, calling the game on ESPN Radio, predicted that Lee would work around Renteria and pitch to Aaron Rowand, the ninth-place hitter for the Giants who is only in the game because of the DH rule in the American League. But Lee did not work around Renteria. He threw a pitch over the plate and Renteria clobbered a home run to left field that has probably won the World Series for the Giants.

Rowand then flew out on the first pitch to end the inning.

Fangraphs now gives San Francisco an 86 percent chance to win the game and the first-ever World Championship for the City by the Bay.
