Pennant Fever

Chelsea has hit a rough patch. Since the beginning of November, the title-holders have gone 1-3-1 in league play, losing what had been a comfortable lead and falling two points behind Man Utd.

Spurs, on the other hand, are playing better, and have almost caught Man City (those choking dogs) for the all-important fourth-place spot:

1. Man Utd 8-0-7 (31 pts)
2. Chelsea 9-4-2 (29 pts) (goal difference of 19)
3. Arsenal 9-4-2 (29 pts) (goal difference of 15)
4. Man City 7-3-5 (26 pts)
5. Spurs 7-4-4 (25 pts)
