I support this effort, but, for a couple of reasons, I think a more appropriate memorial to Robert Penn Warren might've been speed-limit signs that allow motorists to accelerate to 120 miles per hour as they roar past Guthrie on I-24. Heady times for the Harlan County football team, whose win over Pulaski County was only part of the good news yesterday. . ... That trip home to Henderson was even worse than I imagined.
Murray State's ballyhooed basketball team is starting a senior forward, Jeffery McClain, who holds the all-time points and rebounds records at Fulton County High.
