Kentucky moved up to number 8 in the AP Poll this week. The last time the Cats were ranked number 8 was November 21, 2005, when they lost to Iowa 67-63. They were also number 8 on March 21, 1999, when they lost to Michigan State in the Elite 8.
UK's record as the number 8 team is 65-23.
