This Weekend in Western Kentucky

Given that Christian County was 8-0, their score serves as a depressing symbol of the gap between Kentucky and Tennessee high school football. You have to wonder if Fulton County is the first 0-8 team ever to win a game by the score of 48-0. And Tilghman picked up a very impressive win on the road, beating an undefeated 1A squad.

  1. I met a guy from Mayfield this weekend who remembered Vernon "Butch" Edwards as a "good guy" and fantastic fullback for Coach Jack Morris's Cardinals long before he coached with Haskins at Heath.
