When I went to bed last night, San Francisco was cruising along with a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh. Atlanta had scored only one run in 16 innings, and they appeared to be totally dead.
But in the top of the 8th, the Braves turned two singles, a throwing error, and a double into three runs and the game was tied. Three innings later, Rick Ankiel -- the pitcher-turned-outfielder -- hit the home run that made all the difference. So there will be at least one divisional series that goes four games.
