NLCS: San Francisco 6 - 5 Philadelphia (San Francisco leads 3-1)

Well, the whole Roy-Oswalt-as-reliever didn't work out. He got the first batter, but then the Giants put together a single, a long single to right, and a sacrifice fly to win the game.

Fangraphs now gives the Giants a 100 percent chance of victory.

Philadelphia's success has been due, in large part, to its mental toughness and ability to win games like this one. But the Giants beat them 4-3 in Game 1, and 6-5 tonight, and those two games are the difference in the Series.

The Giants will now have a chance to close out the Phillies -- and win their first pennant since 2002 -- tomorrow night in San Francisco.
