Lidge slammed the door, retiring the Giants 1-2-3 on 10 pitches. In the last three innings of the game after Halladay left, the Giants got no runs, no walks, only one hit, and five strikeouts.
The Phillies have to feel good about their chances now. They are heading home, and they are probably done with Tim Lincecum. But the Giants -- who have been competitive in almost every game so far -- will also feel confident. This has been a great series so far.
