NLCS: Philadelphia 2 - 3 San Francisco (Bottom of the 8th)

San Francisco, trying desperately to lock up the pennant, brought out Tim Lincecum -- who just pitched seven tough innings two nights ago -- to pitch the eighth. Lincecum started off well, striking out Jayson Werth. But Shane Victorino singled to right, and Raul Ibanez followed with another single. At this point, the Giants properly realized that the Lincecum experiment wasn't working. They have now brought in their closer -- Brian Wilson (who led the NL in saves this year) -- and they are asking him to get the five outs they need.
