ALDS: New York 6 - 1 Minnesota (New York wins series 3-0)

The big story of this series was supposed to be that after Sabathia pitched game 1, the Yankees had no one who could pitch games 2 and 3. But Andy Pettite was great in game 2, holding the Twins to only two runs. And tonight Phil Hughes dominated the Twins, giving up no runs in seven innings. So the Twins are done -- eliminated by the Yankees for the fourth time since 2003 -- and the Yankees are on to the next round.
