In an attempt to reach the kids of the guy that Matthew works with, the Yankees are playing what may be their last game of the year right now. It's up to C.C. Sabathia to save the season for the Yankees, because given the way things are going for the Bombers, they will not score very many runs.
By the way, no team from the AL West has won the American League pennant since 2002. Here are the pennant winners since then:
