Album Review: Life Turns Electric by Finger Eleven

I have never heard of these guys and so didn't know what to expect, except that they were labeled by Rhapsody as "Hard Rock."  The funny thing is that label is essentially perfect.  They aren't heavy metal they are more like the band Live.  So the album is heavy with guitars, a gritty vocalists, and a pop sense. 

It's not a bad album, but it's also not something I would gravitate to.  I've now listened through the album three times and though I cannot see myself playing it again, if this is your sound I could see this being pretty good. 

I could see picking out a song from this album to use on a youtube video highlighting a high school football player. 

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
