Anyhow it was the second day in a row with a mountain top finish and today it was Vincenzo Nibali coming under pressure as race leader. He was attacked hard by Ezequiel Mosquera and Mosquera did manage to scrape back some time, but not much just 11 seconds. Meanwhile it was Carlos Barredo who was the hero of the day. He was in an early break away and managed to survive to the end to take the win.
They have another mountain top finish tomorrow, in a much tougher stage.
