If this game didn't mean so much, it would really be a lot of fun. Tech tried a 50-yd field goal -- which missed disastrously. But then Boise State was penalized for running into the kicker. So now with 4th and 9, Tech throws a pass -- which goes for a touchdown!
And then, since Boise's last PAT was blocked, Tech decides to go for 2! But, of course, they don't make it. So Tech's advantage in that regard is simply thrown away.
In all fairness, this would be one of the all-time great Gator Bowls.
