The Americans fell behind 30-35, but then went on a 12-0 run to take the lead. To their credit, the Americans have stopped taking so many 3's, and are trying to take the ball inside. In fact, they were 14/18 from the line, which was a huge key to their success.
The other key is Kevin Durant, who has 19 points in the first half and who is, to me, the most exciting player to enter the NBA since Michael Jordan.
