This album has already produced a number one country hit "Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer." You can pretty much write that song yourself. For that matter you can pretty much write this whole album yourself. Just think Nashville country music factory and you've got it.
Obviously the factory knows what they are doing because they've been around for a long time and produce a lot of record sales. In my mind this album falls on the side of the better factory produced albums. It never embarrasses you and it never angers you, so in that sense it does pretty well. It just never grabs you either and says this is something special.
If I was at a picnic and this was on in the background it would fit and wouldn't make me want to leave.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
i've been seeing the commericals for those big boxes of draught miller lite beer, and i so want to have that bix box of beer in our garage refrigerator. alas, i can't find the big boxes of beer at any of the stores around here. it's very disappointing. a glass of fresh, very cold beer would be outstanding every so often.
ReplyDeleteI listen to quite a bit of country music, and this is pretty low-rent stuff, even by the standards of the Nashville factory.
ReplyDeleteWhen I turn on the radio- I inevitably come across this song- I try to listen to entire song but just can't make myself do it.
