This turned out to be another day for the sprinters and once again Mark Cavendish ruled the day. It's amazing that at his age he is this fast and this dominant. Tyler Farrar once again was there, but he just can't match Cavendish's speed. When he's on form and gets a good lead out no one can.
The points competition is now very close and we won't see any sprint finishes again until possibly the 11th stage. The Tour is now heading into the mountains. With our first mountain stages we'll start to see who wants to win the mountains jersey and which, of the general classification contenders, is on form .
