Only seven countries have ever won the World Cup: Uruguay (1930, 1950), Italy (1934, 1938, 1982, 2006), Germany (1954, 1974, 1990), Brazil (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002), England (1966), Argentina (1978, 1986), and France (1998). Now we will have a new winner. This year will mark the first final between two teams that have not won the Cup since 1978, when Argentina played the Netherlands for the title.
